Film Oz, the Great and Powerful merupakan prekuel film petualangan gadis
kecil Dorothy di "The Wizard of Oz" (1939). Dikisahkan, seorang
penyihir yang menjadi bagian dari rombongan sirkus terjebak dalam
pusaran tornado saat ia berada di balon udara. Tornado yang dibuat oleh
dua penyihir jahat itu akhirnya membuat pria tersebut terdampar di
negeri fantasi Oz sama seperti Dorothy.
